TASK AT HAND
A water park was under construction on the territory of a hotel complex in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, which was intended to be the centre of water entertainment in the city. It was necessary to automate this large facility with a 90-room hotel and a water park with paid areas and catering points inside. A complex of systems and programmes of two companies – BARS IT and its parent company became a suitable solution. They provided the customer not only with software, but also with the necessary equipment.

How to Automate Catering Outlets Within Hotel and Entertainment Complex

The r_keeper software was used to automate 6 catering outlets (including a restaurant, canteen, fast food, lobby bar). At this facility it included cash desks, electronic queue, guest screen and chef's monitor. There are 2 screens in the canteen: one displays the customer's cheque and the second one displays advertising.

Benefits of Electronic Queuing At Food Outlets

Electronic queueing increases the speed of customer service in catering outlets. The essence of the technology is that the status of each order is visible on the screen. The customer receives the order in a separate window. This order processing increases the speed of service to visitors.

Chef's Monitor Benefits

The chef's monitor displays the orders received. This makes it easier for the chefs to keep track of the time of their orders and to coordinate with the staff taking and issuing orders to the guests.

How BARS Payment and Access System operates

The BARS system is installed in Aquamarine Water Park. BARS includes 4 Rostov-On-Don flap-gate turnstiles to control access to the water park.

The payment and access system integrates 4 cashier's places where customers buy sessions to visit the water park.

To simplify accounting, Customer purchased a module for uploading information to a sophisticated computer programme for accounting. The module generates a database of clients.
RFID Wristband As Means of Payment In Water Parks

The optimal means of payment for water amusement facilities is a waterproof RFID wristband.

It is convenient to pay with it in catering outlets that work with r_keeper software. Aquamarine guests can visit the relax zone with massage chairs (they are switched on by an electronic wristband) and entertain the kids in the baby spa club. Entrance to the club is also paid for with an RFID wristband.

Before leaving the water park, customers return the wristband to the ticket office for a final payment. After paying the required amount, the visitor is given a cheque with a QR code. It must be applied to the reader of the turnstile, which opens for the exit.
What Customer Gets From Hotel Automation

Shelter Hotel Management System is used to automate a 90-room hotel. Shelter simplifies the booking of rooms and accommodation of guests. This programme enables the use of magnetic chip cards as an electronic key and means of payment for hotel services.

RESULT
It is easier for the Aquamarine management to manage and control the work of an automated facility than one where everything has to be done manually. It is convenient for visitors to pay for purchases, access to paid areas of water park and hotel services.
